May Day in China 2008

Since it's a holiday today and we do not want to go and squeeze with the crowds in the touristy areas, we decide to go the Century Park for a stroll.

This is ZhangJiaBang river which flows thro the park. We are on the bridge on the way to the park.


Entrance fees of RMB10/pax. It's a relaxing place to be. Next time, mum and Mayi can come here to relax relax.. Apparently, for May Day, there are concerts being held in the park. But we missed the timing. But, this place is packed with alot of families and groups of frens. You can rent boats, tricyles, quadcycles etc here to go around the park.

Olympic mood for everyone.

This is the lake inside the park. See the low rise bldg with the curved roof to the left of Sean. That's the Science & Technology Museum which is linked to the mrt station. And that's the mrt station that DaYi and Ah Lai spent two days shopping in its underground shops last Nov!!!

There a tall bldg with an opening at the top. That's suppose to be the tallest in the world at LuJiaZui area.

We usually take abt 10-15 min to walk to this mrt from our apt. It's two stations away fm Sean's office. For me, I usually take the bus to Walmart or Carrefour and mrt to Superbrand Mall in LJZ.
